Hello Everyone!
Wow, has it been a really long time since I’ve posted anything here. Sorry about that. But with Labor Day upon us, it felt like the perfect time to dust off the keyboard and say hi again.
Labor Day is more than just the unofficial end of summer; it’s a celebration of hard work, persistence, and the countless people who put in the effort day after day to build, create, and keep things moving forward. That spirit of labor — the sweat, the dedication, the belief in something bigger — is one I’ve always admired. It though it doesn't compare in any way to digging ditches in the Arizona heat, I find it’s the same energy that goes into making comics. Every panel, every page, every late night sketch session… it’s a labor of love.
Speaking of comics, it’s been over a decade since The Miscellaneous Adventures of STYKMAN™ first stumbled into the world. Creating that series was an incredible journey, and it remains one of the things I’m most proud of. The comic book medium has always been close to my heart; it’s a place where imagination and grit meet, a place of 300 foot long capes, and 3000 story buildings; where fun and fantastic stories leap off the page and live in the minds of readers.
So as we celebrate the hard work of so many this Labor Day, I also want to say thank you for the support you gave STYKMAN back then, and for still being here now.
And while I won’t say too much just yet… let’s just say there may be something just over the horizon. Keep a weathered eye out.
Until then, here’s to labor, to comics, and to the stories that never quite fade away.

"Hello. Hello. Is this thing on? So the big guy says there’s ‘something just over the horizon,’ huh? Gee, I wonder what that could be? Let me save you the suspense: it’s ME! Obviously. Who else would it be? Comics are in dire need of my heroics. Let's face it: they NEED STYKMAN. So polish up your reading glasses, boys and girls, I'm coming back in all of my saddle-stitched glory. And nothing can stop me this time. Noth.."
"Wha? Ach! Oof! Ouch. Ungh."
"AL?!!! Little help."
